A North Norwich man has been accused of growing and selling marijuana.
Walter J. Russell, 57, was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing marijuana, said Chenango County deputies, who executed a search warrant at his home.
A monthlong investigation into the cultivating, possession and sale of marijuana resulted in the arrest of Russell, who allegedly had more than 1 pound of marijuana.
Russell is scheduled to appear in North Norwich Town Court on Tuesday.
