SIDNEY _ Sidney Central School District and Bassett Healthcare are working on providing services at a school-based health center, which will be the topic of a meeting tonight.
The session will be in the Sidney High School library at 7 p.m. and include an overview of the service. Nine area schools have centers, and Sidney's program will begin sometime after Jan. 1, a media release from the school district said.
The program calls for the establishment of a community advisory committee, and participation is open to interested parents, students, staff and administrators and members of local faith, human-service and business groups, the release said.
