Man caught for drug charge

A former resident of Springfield Center and Richfield Springs was arrested on a drug charge Wednesday after being located in Syracuse by the U.S. Marshal's Service, Otsego County deputies said.

Jesse J. Miller, 20, of Syracuse, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, deputies said. Miller was charged with selling cocaine to a person in the village of Richfield Springs on March 6.

The State Division of Parole in Utica assisted with the investigation.

Bail was set at $25,000, and Miller is scheduled to appear today in Otsego County Court to finish his arraignment, deputies said. Miller faces up to nine years in prison if convicted of the charge.
