ä In Delaware County Court on Monday, Chris M. Klutsch, 45, of Margaretville, pleaded guilty to a reduced count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
According to the terms of a plea agreement, Klutsch will be sentenced to one year in jail Nov. 2.
Klutsch took jewelry valued in excess of $1,000 when he worked at Discoveries in Margaretville. Frances K. Eickner owns the shop. All of the merchandise was recovered and returned, Delaware County District Attorney Richard Northrup said.
In other court business:
ä Timothy Sullivan, 50, of Boston, was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and fined $2,500 on misdemeanor driving while intoxicated charges.
Sullivan was found guilty of one count of aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a blood-alcohol content of .18 or higher, and one count of common law DWI following a jury trial. The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred May 9, 2008, in the village of Margaretville.
Delaware County Chief Assistant District Attorney John L. Hubbard prosecuted the case, which was defended by Stamford attorney Michael A. Jacobs.
ä Jesse S. Mohr, 24, of Andes, pleaded innocent to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Mohr is being held on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond to await trial during the April 26 trial term.
