---- — A Hancock man has been arrested and accused of fraudulently obtaining $12,000 worker’s compensation benefits.
Delaware County deputies, acting on a complaint from the county Self-Insurance Fund, arrested James T. Rotzler, 59, according from a press release from the sheriff’s office.
He faces three counts of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree and three counts of workers compensation fraud, all class E felonies, and one count of grand larceny in the third degree, a class D felony.
Rotzler was arraigned in the Town of Deposit Court and released on his own recognizance. He was ordered to reappear on Feb. 4.
