ONEONTA _ City police said the death of a man found in Huntington Park on Sunday was likely from natural causes.
A passer-by found the body of a man in his 50s early Sunday afternoon in the park off Chestnut Street, police said.
The man, who was not identified by police, was apparently walking through the park when he collapsed and died, police said, and no foul play was suspected.

Morris Central School will be open to students and staff who wish to see a counselor about the recent death of a popular teacher and former school board president, officials said Sunday.
Christine Ann MacLeman, 61, died Friday, said Superintendent Matt Sheldon. School isn't in regular session, he said, but counselors will be available today through Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
``The students and staff really liked her,'' Sheldon said.
According to an obituary, MacLeman died of a rare, incurable cancer.
MacLeman served many years as school board president at Morris Central School. She attended the State University College at Oneonta and earned a bachelor's degree in 1993, her obituary said, and she completed her master's degree in education in 2002.
At Morris, she taught global studies, government and summer school, and in 2006, she became president of the teachers union.

Three people were arrested Wednesday in connection with dumping a freezer containing rotten meat, Otsego County deputies said.
Deputies and the state Department of Environmental Conservation investigated the unlawful dumping of a freezer onto private property in the town of Springfield, Otsego deputies said.
Justin K. Tyler, 21, of Springfield, Benjamin D. Prime, 19, of Fort Plain, and Joseph A. O'Brien, 22, of Cooperstown, were charged with unlawfully disposing of solid waste and many vehicle and traffic violations associated with all-terrain vehicle operation, deputies said.
The three were issued traffic and appearance tickets returnable to Springfield Town Court at a later date, deputies said.

A 22-year-old Sidney man was arrested Wednesday on a Delaware County Criminal Court warrant, Sidney police said.
Joshua P. Poss was arrested for second-degree assault, a felony, police said. A state police K-9 unit provided assistance, police said.
Poss was sent to Delaware County jail without bail pending a future court appearance, police said.
{"headline18"/}Deputies seek help with case
The Delaware County Sheriff's Office said it needs help solving a case involving criminal mischief and vandalism to a bulldozer in Harpersfield.
The bulldozer was parked near the intersection of Streeter Hill and Champlin roads, and it had been there about a month when the owner returned to move the machine and discovered the damage, according to deputies.
Deputies said the gauges had been broken, the seat slashed and the starter wire was cut.
