A former Oneonta man
was arrested Tuesday for
allegedly selling crack
cocaine in the city of
Oneonta in November,
Otsego deputies said.
Michael N. Shires,
33, of Binghamton was
arrested for third-degree
criminal sale of a
controlled substance, a
felony, deputies said.
After an indictment
was unsealed Tuesday
in Otsego County Court,
Shires was arraigned on
charges that stemmed
from a joint investigation
by deputies, city
police and state Division
of Parole, deputies said.
Shires was sent to
Otsego County Jail on
$30,000 bail to appear
next week to finish his
arraignment.
