Edmeston man charged with sex abuse

An Edmeston man has been arrested on felony sex crime charges, state police at Richfield Springs said.

James H. Skwirut, 66, Edmeston, was charged Monday with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possession of a sexual performance by a child, both felonies, troopers said. Cash bail was set at $2,500, a media report said, but further details weren’t immediately available.
