DELHI _ The best-tasting water in Delaware County will be determined at a taste test in Delhi from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 8.

The annual Delaware County Water Taste Test, sponsored by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, will be held in conjunction with the Delhi Farmers' Market.

"We know that Delaware County has the best-tasting water in the world," said Mary Beth Silano, Chamber executive director. "This test will determine who has bragging rights until next year."

Those interested should have two gallons of cold water at Court House Square, Delhi, by 11:15 a.m. The winner of this competition moves on to a regional contest and, potentially, to the state competition.
