The Delaware County Public Health department has sent along a possible swine-flu case for testing by the state.
The specimen will be sent to the state lab to confirm, according to the county's public health website. This is the first suspect case in Delaware County -- Otsego and Chenango have each had test cases prove negative, and the four-county area remains free of confirmed swine-flu cases. All suspect cases must be approved by a local health department before being sent to the New York State Lab.
