DELHI _ The Delaware County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution on Wednesday to sell about seven acres of land in Fishs Eddy to the town of Hancock.
The land is a portion of a Marcy South lot and will be used to house a new town highway garage.
The Hancock town garage was destroyed during the June 2006 flood, and the town has been working with state and federal agencies on the reconstruction of the garage.
The town of Hancock purchased the property for the total price of $41,676 plus closing costs.

ä The board resolved that the week of April 26 to May 2 will be designated as Delaware County Crime Victims' Rights Week in honor of crime victims, survivors and those who serve them.
ä The board proclaimed May as Mental Health Month in Delaware County, urging residents of the county to become educated about the benefits and importance of good mental-health care and to seek services for emotional problems early from mental-health professionals.
ä The board recognized Sgt. Duane Finkle as employee of the month.
