Teenager charged in BOCES burglary

DELHI _ A 17-year-old Unadilla male pleaded innocent in Delaware County Court on Monday to committing burglary at the Masonville BOCES.

Jordan R. King was indicted on charges of third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny by the Delaware County grand jury Thursday.

According to court records, King allegedly entered a building at 270 BOCES Drive and took credit cards, cash and checks.

Delaware County Judge Carl Becker scheduled King's trial for the April 27 term and released him on $1,000 bail.

In another case, Clint Peterson, 18, of Andes, was arraigned Thursday and pleaded innocent to promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

According to court records, Peterson's charges stem from an incident on Jan. 4 in Andes.

In other cases:

ä Nathanial P. Stoesser, 21, of Jefferson, pleaded guilty to first-degree reckless endangerment in full satisfaction of charges stemming from an incident in which he allegedly pointed a gun at a state police investigator.

Stoesser was sentenced to two-to-six years in prison to run concurrently with a sentence on a third-degree burglary charge in Schoharie County.

ä Navin Badal, 26, of South Kortright, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance in a plea agreement in which he will be sentenced to five years' probation.

Badal allegedly sold cocaine in Stamford on Dec. 28, March 28 and April 25.

Badal was released on his own recognizance to await sentencing Jan. 12.

ä Norman C. Epps Jr., 49, of South Kortright, pleaded guilty to DWI and will be sentenced to five years' probation with intermittent jail on weekends for the first four months.

Epps' charges stem from an incident in Stamford on May 23. He was released on his own recognizance to await sentencing on Jan. 12.

ä Charles E. Currie, 50, of Hamden, pleaded innocent to driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and speeding. The charges stem from an incident in Delhi on Oct. 21.

Currie was released on $1,000 bail to await trial April 27.

ä Robert N. Utter, 55, of Franklin, pleaded innocent to first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with ability impaired by alcohol, no license plate, no insurance and unregistered motor vehicle.

Utter was released on $500 bail to reappear Jan. 5.

ä Brandi A. Wyckoff, 19, of Walton, was re-sentenced to five years' probation with provisions that she be admitted to New Hope Manor as a condition of her probation.

Wyckoff previously pleaded guilty to first-degree scheme to defraud in full satisfaction of a 25-count indictment.

She admitted passing bad checks at businesses in Delhi, Hamden, Colchester and Walton.
