According to the county Planning Department, the following items will be accepted that day: furniture, rugs, carpeting, mattresses and box springs, toys and textiles.

Also being accepted will be construction and demolition debris including wood, sheet rock, shingles, siding, plumbing and electrical fixtures; rubble and yard waste.

Materials that will not be accepted include household food waste and other regular bagged garbage; liquid wastes; hazardous wastes; televisions and other home electronics; and appliances.

For all four days, the Northern Transfer Station will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

UNADILLA _ A 28-year-old registered Level 1 sex offender faces a felony charge for allegedly failing to report an address change.

Chad D. Walters, who was formerly of the Bainbridge area, moved to the Unadilla area but did not report the move to the state Division of Criminal Justice within 10 days, according to the Otsego County Sheriff's Office.

Walters turned himself in to the deputies and was issued an appearance ticket dated for Oct. 20 in Middlefield Town Court.
