Child-porn guilty plea made

COOPERSTOWN _ In state Supreme Court in Otsego County on July 21 before Justice Michael Coccoma, an Oneonta man pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.

According to court records, the incidents occurred March 21, 2007, and May 31, 2006, in the city of Oneonta.

Christopher M. DeMarco, 25, who is in state prison, is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 25.

In Otsego County Court on July 16 before Judge Brian Burns, Dennis F. Martin Jr., 30, of Unadilla, was sentenced to five years' probation for driving while intoxicated.

According to court records, the incident occurred Jan. 8 in Unadilla.

Martin was fined $1,500, his driver's license was revoked, and he was assessed a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee and a $25 DWI fee.

Also in court July 16 before Burns, Samuel A. Madero, 43, of Oneonta, pleaded guilty to DWI.

According to court records, the incident occurred Jan. 7 in the town of Oneonta. Madero, who is free on $2,500 bail, is scheduled to be sentenced at a later date.

In county court July 14 before Burns, James V. McAdams, 39, of East Worcester, was sentenced to five years' probation for first-degree scheme to defraud.

According to court records, the incident occurred in the fall of 2006 in the town of Maryland.

McAdams was ordered to pay $1,140 restitution and was assessed a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee and a $50 DNA fee.

Also in court July 14 before Burns:

ä Dean A. Calamia Sr., 36, of Unadilla, was sentenced as a second-felony offender to two-to-four years in prison for second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

According to court records, the incident occurred Nov. 24 in Unadilla.

Calamia was ordered to pay $1,175 restitution, and he was assessed a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee and $50 DNA fee.

ä Michael Lotterman, 24, of Davenport, was sentenced to one year in jail for fourth-degree grand larceny.

According to court records, the incident occurred Oct. 6 in Worcester.

Lotterman was ordered to pay a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee and a $50 DNA fee.

ä John O. Dibble, 42, of Cherry Valley, was sentenced to five years' probation for DWI.

According to court records, the incident occurred June 9, 2007 in the village of Cherry Valley.

Dibble is to pay a $1,000 fine, a $270 surcharge and crime victims' fee and a $25 DWI fee.

ä David J. Georgeson, 52, of Colliersville, was sentenced to three years' probation for fourth-degree possession of marijuana.

According to court records, the incident occurred Sept. 19 in the town of Maryland. He was assessed a $160 crime victims' fee and surcharge.

ä Ryan J. Holling, 25, of Oneonta, pleaded innocent at arraignment to charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, cocaine.

According to court records, the incident occurred Oct. 11, 2007, in the town of Oneonta and April 6, 2008, in the city of Oneonta.

Holling was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail to await further court proceedings.
