One hurt in Plymouth crash

PLYMOUTH _ An unidentified passenger was taken to a hospital with a head injury after a one-vehicle accident Monday, Chenango County deputies said, and the driver was charged with drunken driving.

Kandy A. Blair, 45, of Plymouth, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusing to submit to a chemical test, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and traveling from a lane unsafely, deputies said.

The 1 p.m. accident happened on German Hollow Road in Plymouth when Blair drove off the roadway over an embankment and the vehicle hit several trees, deputies said.

The name of the passenger wasn't available Monday night. Deputies said crews from Plymouth, Norwich and Mercy Medical Flight responded, and the investigation is continuing.

Domestic dispute alleged

NEW BERLIN _ A 19-year-old man was arrested Sunday after an alleged domestic dispute.

Robert A. Mowers, of New Berlin, was charged Sunday with second-degree assault, a felony, and unlawful imprisonment, a misdemeanor.

Mowers was involved in a domestic incident where his live-in girlfriend suffered an injury, Norwich state police said Monday.

Troopers did not release the extent of the injury but said it was not life-threatening.

Mowers was released to appear at a later date in New Berlin Town Court.
