Five people were taken to A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta after the truck they were in hit a house in Franklin on Thursday afternoon, state police and emergency service officials said. None of the injuries were life threatening, said officials.

Kelly Swiatek, 34, of Walton, was driving a pickup truck on state Route 357 at about 4:30 p.m. when she lost control because of a medical condition, state police at Sidney said. The truck crashed into the house at 8867 State Route 357, troopers said.

No information was available on the names of any of the passengers or the owner of the house, troopers said Friday. There was no report on tickets issued, and troopers said the case was closed.

A nursing supervisor at Fox Hospital said on Friday that Swiatek was treated and released.
