COOPERSTOWN _ In state Supreme Court of Otsego County last Friday, Tonia A. Holbrook, 30, of Oneonta, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, cocaine.
According to court records, the incident occurred July 8, 2008, in the town of Oneonta.
Holbrook is free after posting a $5,000 bail bond and is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 6.

A New Berlin man was arrested after a combined effort with state police, including an aviation unit, located 35 marijuana plants on his property, New Berlin police said Wednesday. Police did not return a call Wednesday night for comment.
Michael F. Dibbell, 51, was arrested for growing cannabis. He is scheduled to appear in New Berlin Town Court on Sept. 16, police said.
