ONEONTA _ A boil-water advisory for the Bugbee Road area has been lifted by city officials.
Two days of required bacteria testing after a water-main break Monday resulted in satisfactory results that exceed state Health Department standards, according to city officials.
The break occurred after workers struck the main while digging along Bugbee Road in conjunction with a $1 million road reconstruction project.
There were 42 homes affected.
