Abortion opponents are saving lives
As a rule, a person who worships at a house of God on a regular basis has a loving and generous heart. All over the world, these loving hearts feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and help to relieve suffering in life-and-death situations.
A loving heart would never encourage a girl or woman to kill a little child growing within the womb. Such evil does exist at Planned Parenthood, the largest provider in the world for legalized abortion.
While multi-millions of the innocent unborn have been slain in this manner of terrorism, many little lives have been saved by the loving hearts of those protesters upon whom Ms. Pelletier spews her hatred. (The Daily Star, Nov. 6).
On the Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, shrine to the 6 million Jews killed in the World War II death camps, these words are forever engraved. "If you saved one life, you have saved humanity." God bless you faithful protesters of abortion.

Obama's ideas aren't working out
I would like to put a shout-out to President Obama since he can't come to a conclusion on whether to help our military men and women by sending the needed amount of troops to Afghanistan.
Please, let me help. Why doesn't he pull all of our troops out of there before he gets more of them killed? He can go over there with his army of czars and ACORNS and organize their communities for them. While he's there, he can apologize for us and show the Taliban and al-Qaida how his man-made disaster is coming along in the USA. I'm sure they'll be pleased.
Thanks. God, I love the First Amendment.

Health care system needs healing
It is truly sad that the health care debacle rages on the way it does. Some have known about and relied on homeopathic and alternative treatments and remedies for years.
These can actually cure ailments, often at a much lower long-term cost than many surgeries and prescription drugs. It is equally sad how the current health care system has become so manipulated by the large pharmaceutical companies and other entities operating for their own self-serving interests. Perhaps it is time for the American public to tell these players they are not the only tool in the toolbox and demand that all manners of health-care be covered _ by private insurers and not the government.
Regarding the power of reconciliation _ I recently read an observation by a psychiatrist that if reconciliation was to again become a regular part of devotional practice (where it has fallen out of place), they would have far fewer patients. A nice reference to the healing powers God offers.
