WCS superintendent doesn't give full stories
WCS Superintendent Gary Kuch had a letter published in The Daily Star on Jan 19. He stated that unverifiable events or problems about the school are reported. However, the three points that were disclosed in the letter were as listed: Kuch admitted the driveway is faulty; the gymnasium was flooded; and custodians stole material from the school.
All one has to do is drive around the facility to realize the driveway is faulty. His absence the day the gym flooded is irrelevant.
Stating the superintendent was at a funeral was a sympathy-gathering gesture.
In his lucrative contract, Kuch is granted several annual bereavement days in addition to generous numbers of personal and sick days.
The letter disclosed allegations of school construction pilfering nearly since work commenced in 2009. Kuch misunderstood the comment to infer it was just about the solved robbery.
He praised himself on his rapid resolution of the $50 tile caper. Kuch failed to mention he hired them before he fired them!
Kuch also reported that disparaging statements about the Worcester community are made by the resident writer.
The superintendent obviously lacks reading comprehension skill! He must not have paid attention in English class.
Never have I made a disparaging statement about our community! This is my home, where I was raised, and raised my family.
However, I'm very critical of the haphazard-construction debacle and the administration's abuse and dismissal of dedicated, excellent school personnel, with the subsequent effects on the students and school community.

"¢ Is it when your vision of America is the polar opposite of the documents that created the greatest country in history, that you took an oath to defend?
Has anyone read the Constitution lately, the only document protecting you from a new world order?
