Rehab care at Manor is among the best

I have been a resident of The Manor for about 1½ years. Before I got here, I was at Bassett Hospital for 12 days. When it was time to send me to a rehab, I had to fight to get admitted to the Manor. This place has a great reputation and a lot of people are trying to get admitted. I got lucky and got here.

This is not the first rehab I have been in, but it is overwhelmingly the best. When I was admitted, I was flat on my back and could not walk. Through a lot of hard work on my part and much harder work by the staff pushing me, I’m back on my feet part of the time. A back operation helped also and because of all the help I received, I am now a permanent resident and happier than I have ever been.

All of this is possible because of the knowledge of the staff and the medical people here. I have made The Manor my home. I can not imagine why anybody would want to sell a gem of an operation like this. It is the only home for many of the residents. Also, the Manor provides jobs for a lot of workers in Otsego County. Please keep the Manor right where it is. Don’t sell it out from under us! Find a better way!
