---- — Judicial temperament is the real issue in the Delaware County judge’s race.
My brother, Gary Rosa, has had that even-handed temperament for as long as I can remember.
We all come into the world to some sort of family. We were lucky to have a close-knit one. As youngsters, the six of us did our fair share of fighting and arguing. Our brother Gary always seemed to be the mediator. That is not to say he never got into trouble, because he did. It was just that his infractions of the rules were on the mild side, when compared to the rest of us.
We are all grown with families of our own now and Gary is a great uncle and mediator with our children.
When problems arise, we can always depend on Gary to be there. He is calm and objective. He does his homework; he gives us the facts and offers choices.
Gary has always wanted to live in Delaware County. It’s his home, his family, his community and his livelihood. Let’s face it, Delaware County is unique. There is no other place like it in New York state. It takes someone like Gary to understand that. Just like when we were children, Gary will work hard, do his homework and play fair as the next Delaware County judge.
