Hartwick College
The following area students received awards from Hartwick College this spring:
Senior Molly Bolton of Unadilla, daughter of Steven and Jayne Bolton, is the recipient of the Arkell Hall Award in Theatre Arts. Bolton is majoring in theatre arts. She is a graduate of Unatego Junior-Senior High School.
Senior Christopher DiDonna of Schenevus, son of Deborah Crockett, is the recipient of the Alice Dornet Award in Political Science, and was inducted into the Hartwick College Honor Society. DiDonna is majoring in history. He is a graduate of Schenevus Central School.
Senior Emily Gage of Harpersfield, daughter of Amy and John Gage, was recognized for participation in the Hartwick College Honors Program. Gage is majoring in music education. She is a graduate of Stamford Central School.
Junior Rebecca Hunter of Oneonta, daughter of Mary and Kenneth Hunter, is the recipient of the Jessie Jenks Scholarship and was named a faculty scholar in psychology. Hunter is majoring in chemistry.
Sophomore Brittany Morrissey of Otego, daughter of Robert and Susan Morrissey, was named an Andrew B. Saxton Fellow in Spanish. Morrissey is majoring in Spanish. She is a graduate of Unatego Junior-Senior High School.
Junior Justin Pedersen of Gilbertsville, son of Jeffrey and Laurie Pedersen, was named a faculty scholar in biology. Pedersen is majoring in biology. He is a graduate of Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School.
Senior Catherine Scorzafava of Oneonta, daughter of Charles and Nancy Scorzafava, was inducted into the Hartwick College Honor Society. Scorzafava is majoring in nursing. She is a graduate of Oneonta High School.
Sophomore Catherine Weigel of Oneonta, daughter of Diane and Michael Weigel, is the recipient of the Otto Steinbach Memorial Scholarship in chemistry. Weigel is majoring in chemistry. She is a graduate of Milford Central School.
