COMMENTING ON STORIES:

Welcome to our story comments feature. We welcome your thoughts and your opinions, including the unpopular ones. We only ask that you keep your conversations clean, civil and on the topic of the story you are commenting on.

Coinciding with our websites redesign, we launched our new story comments feature through Disqus.

For the time being, our story comments feature will continue to have the ability to post comments anonymously. We reserve the right to require registration in the future using your name and verified email address.

ONEONTA "" Women in Transition, a separated and divorced self-held support group, has been formed in Oneonta. The purpose of this group is to help women who are experiencing the trauma of separation and divorce to develop coping skills that are necessary for a successful transition.

The OHS baseball mentor today will set in motion the Yellowjacket nine's spring training program with a crew of 30 prospective diamond men due to report for a first practice session in the OHS gym.

Due to begin April 23 against Herkimer, the Jackets boast only six holdovers from last year's Iroquois League championship team: pitcher Bill Ronevech, catcher Joe Russo, first baseman Jim Konstanty, infielder Mike Lewis, outfielder Al Hazlett and utility man Frank Colone.

Ronovech, Konstanty and Lewis, involved in basketball sectional play, will be late to report.
