Senior Menus


Otsego County

The menu by Prestige Services Inc. for the Otsego County Senior Meals Program for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4 will be:

Monday _ Breaded fish on a bun, macaroni and cheese, strewed tomatoes, peaches and strawberries.

Tuesday _ Baked chicken with creamy herb sauce, mushroom and wild rice pilaf, spinach, vanilla ice cream.

Wednesday _ Goulash with extra sauce, broccoli, warm roll, carnival cookie.

Thursday _ Kielbasa with sauerkraut on a hot dog bun, pierogis, carrots, mandarin oranges.

Friday _ Sliced turkey with gravy, seasoned stuffing, mashed squash, peaches and strawberries.

Delaware County

The menu of the Delaware County Senior Dining Program the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4 will be:

Monday _ Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, three-bean salad, whole wheat bread, vanilla ice cream with chopped peaches and topping, diet fruit.

Tuesday _ Ham with raisin sauce, candied sweet potatoes, cauliflower, applesauce, whole wheat bread, plain Jell-O with topping, diet Jell-O.

Wednesday _ Braised beef with mushrooms, egg noddles, mixed vegetables, whole wheat bread, cran-grape juice, yellow cake with strawberries and topping.

Thursday _ Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, peas, golden glow salad, whole wheat bread, brownie, diet pudding.

Friday _ Chicken parmigiana over spaghetti, green beans, tossed salad, garlic bread, pineapple tidbits.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dining centers are:

Schoharie County

The menu for the Schoharie County Senior Meals Program for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4 will be:

Monday _ Liver with onion gravy, buttered noodles, Harvard beets, wheat bread, chilled peaches.

Tuesday _ Macaroni and cheese with ham chunks, stewed tomatoes, rye bread, naval orange.

Wednesday _ Baked fish with herb sauce, white rice, carrots with dill, wheat bread, lemon pudding, diet pudding.

Thursday _ Cheesy chili mac, mixed vegetables, warm corn bread, fruit cup.

Friday _ Marinated chicken, stuffing, steamed broccoli, wheat bread, fruited Jell-O, diet fruited Jell-O.

Monday _ Lemon herb pollock, baked potato with sour cream, spinach, tossed salad, whole wheat bread, fresh fruit.

Tuesday _ Peach spiced chicken, brown rice, Brussels sprouts, oatmeal bread, vanilla pudding with fruit cocktail.

Wednesday _ Turkey ala king, egg noodles, peas and carrots, fruit juice, rye bread, apricot halves.

Thursday _ Roast beef with gravy, red skinned garlic mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, tossed salad.

Friday _ Meat lasagna, broccoli florets, tossed salad, warmed garlic bread, oatmeal raisin cookie.

Thursday, Dec. 3, McDonough only: Roast beef with gravy, red skinned garlic mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, tossed salad, multi-grain bread, Boston creme pie, angel food cake with vanilla pudding.
