The Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society and the Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad will be offering Christmas train rides through Dec. 13.
Train rides with Santa
Train rides with Santa and Mrs. Claus and their helpers on the Santa Express Train will be Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 28, 29, Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13, with all trains leaving the Milford Depot on State Route 166, East Main Street, at 2 p.m.
Santa and the Mrs. Claus will be on the decorated train, along with holiday music and refreshments.
Christmas Lights Trains
Christmas Lights Trains will run Friday, Nov. 27 and Saturdays, Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, departing at 6 p.m.
This nighttime ride along the Susquehanna River takes place on a decorated passenger train, and includes track side light displays, Christmas music, holiday refreshments and the Winter Wonderland Station.
Trains will be heated if the weather warrants it, but passengers are advised to dress warmly. Running times for both trains is about two hours.
Reservations and prepayment are required. Group discounts are available.
