Twenty members of the Center City Senior Citizens met in the Ponderosa Restaurant recently for a Thanksgiving dinner.

Are you superstitious?
Does the thought of a black cat walking under a ladder with a $2 bill tucked under its collar give you the jitters?
Whatever your pet superstitions may be, they're sure to get a workout today; it's Friday, the 13th.
In case you had forgotten, today's the day when all sorts of ill fortune is supposed to dog your heels. However, the mere fact that you're reading this proves that you managed to get through two such days already this year _ Friday, February 13, and Friday, March 13.
A quick, unofficial poll of Oneontans revealed that no one believes today will be worth 24 hours of hard luck.
Arnie G. Tuckner, a student at State University College of Education, said "Hogwash!" When asked his opinion of the much maligned date. "It's an old myth, and I've never believed in hard luck.
Mrs. Betty Monser, a hosuewife of 15 Dietz St. said, "I never think about hard luck Friday the 13th, or any of that nonsense."
Jim Giglio, a sign painter of 31 Dietz St., was atop a ladder when asked if he carried a good luck piece in his pocket. Giglio said, "The only think lucky I want to carry in my pocket is money."
