COOPERSTOWN _ Bassett Hospital will have an open house Sunday at its new Friendship Lodge, a facility that will provide overnight accommodations for outpatients and relatives of seriously-ill patients.
The event, at 3 Mill St., will be from 2 to 4 p.m.
Bassett has refurbished a single-family home, located near the hospital, in establishing the facility. It will offer five bedrooms, bathrooms with showers, a kitchen and a lounge area.
Temporary overnight facilities have been located since last March in Bassett Hall on Beaver Street, and hospitals say the service has been well received.

SCHENEVUS _ The senior class of Draper Central School has chosen "Little Women" as its fall production on Nov. 20, with the following cast:
Rosemary Arnold, Twyla Banner, Sydney Lynes, Marian Bush, Joan Bostwick, Kenneth Palmer, Richard Ciliberti, Miriam Weil, Steve Collins, Richard Schutt.
Directors are Mrs. Mary Scott and Millard McCune.
