The Fox Hospital Auxiliary will hold its semi-annual tea at 2 p.m. Oct. 16, in the First Presbyterian Church. Lorraine Cabot will be the speaker. Alice Yager and Charlotte Hay are the co-hostesses.
A fundraiser luncheon is planned at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Oneonta Country Club. Entertainment will be the Klipnockie Klangers, bell ringers group from the United Methodist Church, directed by Ray Paradis. Mary Hulbert is luncheon chairman.
The annual Christmas bazaar will be 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 in the lobby of Fox Hospital. Many handmade articles will be available. Ruth Whitaker is chairman.

Oct. 13, 1959
The Otsego County 4-H Club Leaders Association held its monthly meeting in Morris Hall at State University College of Education at Oneonta.
Training leaders in Program Planning was the subject.
The following officers were elected for the year 1959-1960: President, Wilbur Russ of Maryland; vice president, Henry Murdock of Hartwick; secretary, Katherine Reilly of Oneonta; treasurer, Mrs. Vernon Seeley of Oneonta; and news reporters, Marion Frey of Unadilla and Joanne Winnie of Fly Creek.
Afterwards Martina Oele, IFYE from the Netherlands, gave a talk on her visit to the United States.
