Oneonta singer-songwriter Dana LaCroix and her band will perform a double-feature concert with vocalist Susan D. at the Linda, WAMC Radio's performing arts studio in Albany, at 8 p.m. Saturday. The concert will be taped for future broadcast. Charter buses will take concertgoers from Oneonta to and from the venue, leaving from Bed, Bath & Beyond at the Southside Mall at 6 p.m. Saturday and returning at midnight.
LaCroix, a Canada native, has performed at many local venues. Her debut album, "Praise," was selected as a Top 12 release by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Her latest album, "Faith In You," was praised by Gordon Lightfoot as "A great album by a wonderful songwriter."
Also performing will be New York City singer-songwriter Susan D., who has worked with artists such as Jennifer Hudson, David Byrne, Enya and Wilson Pickett.
Tickets for the bus trip and concert are available locally at The Eighth Note Music Store in Oneonta, or by calling 437-0158.
