RICHFIELD SPRINGS _ Bassett Hospital will hold an open house here on Sunday, Sept. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. to mark the establishment of a clinic at 7 Lake St.
During the first quarter of 1985, the clinic will operate on a part-time basis for about 22 hours a week.
Dr. John Dier will head the clinic. The staff will include nurse practitioner Christina LaBarre and secretary-receptionist Janet Sterling.
The hospital operates other clinics in Edmeston, Cherry Valley, Morris, Davenport, and Milford.

As a part of Bresee's 60th Anniversary Celebration this month, the Clerk's Association held a banquet Saturday evening at the Elks Club with 200 present.
Mrs. Robert Simmons, president of the association, assisted by a committee composed of all employees of the store with more than 25 years of service, planned the program. On the committee were Bernard Collins, Louis Shaw, Devere Perrine, Sherman Decker, Rudy Bagg, Harold Ferris, Mrs. Helen Hay, Miss Clark Conrow, Mrs. Grace Williams and Mrs. Robert Simmons.
Members of the Bresee firm and their wives were guests of the association and sat at the head table, which was decorated with flowers and a birthday cake in honor of the occasion. Clyde F. Bresee, president of the store, spoke briefly.
Long-time employees of the store who are now retired were given special honors. Recognized by the Association were Mrs. Edith Rich, Mrs. Elice Collins, Miss Anna Perry, Mrs. Allie Emerick, Mrs. Blanche Oles, Mrs. Emma T. Bastow, Willard Wells, Harry Shaw and Harley Olds.
Mrs. Muriel Lawyer and Mrs. Minnie Cook were presented with 15-year gold service pins, set with a ruby. Philip W. Bresee, a member of the firm, received his 10-year service pin. The pins were presented by Wilmer E. Bresee, vice-president.
