The 11th Annual Epicurean Festival, Food Tasting and Auction will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown.
All proceeds will benefit local families of Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care.
This year's participating chefs, caterers, confection makers and select culinary students are: A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Alex & Ika Restaurant, The American Hotel, A Taste of Europe Restaurant & Catering, Bassett Healthcare, Bella Michael's, Bull's Head Inn, BOCES, Doubleday Cafe, Elena's, The Farmers Place, Fred's, The Golden Guernsey, Good Cheap Food, Heidelberg Baking Company, Hoffman Lane Bistro, It's All Good, Magnolia's Fudge, McCadam Cheese, Oneonta Job Corps Culinary Arts, The Otesaga Resort Hotel, Palatine Valley Dairy, Patty Cakes, Portabello's, The Quarter Moon Cafe, Redneck Bar-B-Que/Jives Cafe, Rose & Kettle, Sodexho Education, Stella Luna Ristorante, State University College of Technology at Delhi _ Escoffier Club, Undercover Eggplant, Villa Isadoro and Worcester Inn.
Food preparation and tastings will take place in the hotel's two Classic American dining rooms.
A silent auction will be held in the hotel's main lobby prior to and during the food tasting. A sampling of auction items include: a golf package from The Otesaga Leatherstocking Golf Course; new, handmade and antique jewelry; live and silk floral arrangements; wines; a teddy bear; handmade wooden items; various gift baskets and gift certificates for Glimmerglass Opera, Oneonta Concert Association and to restaurants and beauty shops.
The annual raffle features prizes for gift certificates to the grocery store of the winner's choice. First prize is $500, second is $300 and third is $200. Tickets are one for $5, four for $10, or 10 for $20.
