HOBART _ The National Bank of Hobart will be dedicated Saturday. The bank will hold open house at its new quarters on Maple Avenue from 2 to 9 p.m.

Construction of the new banking house, at a cost in excess of $75,000, was begun late last fall.

The new banking house, of modern design and construction, incorporates many of recent innovations in banking techniques.

Donald G. Rose was appointed president in 1950 and has served since that date. Mr. Rose first became associated with the bank in 1935. He was named cashier in 1946, and vice president in 1949.

H. Allan Knox, formerly associated with the National Bank of Stamford, was appointed assistant cashier of the Hobart Bank in 1946, and in 1949 was named cashier.

Present members of the board of directors are Allan D. Cairns of Bloomville, Ralph S. Gould, Mr. Knox, Wallace H. Rich, Mr. Rose, R. B. Thomson and William Van Buren. Mr. Thomson is the bank's vice president; David H. Blazer is assistant cashier.

Tours of the new building will be conducted, and refreshments served at the open house.
