Sept. 23, 1958

The annual banquet and installation of officers for the Scohanna Board of Baseball Umpires was held Saturday night in Joe and Mary's Restaurant. Officials and guests were treated to a steak dinner served family style and movies were shown featuring highlights of the past sports season.

New officers installed were president, George Harrison of Cooperstown; vice presidents, Jack Ranieri of Oneonta and Bob Callahan of Cooperstown; secretary, Percy Reinhardt of Oneonta, and treasurer, Fred Blanchard of Edmeston.

Guests at the affair included Bob Dwyer of Oneonta, president of the Oneonta Little League, Ed Dandignac of Meridale, president of the Walton Reporter League, Ray Weller of Cooperstown, president of the Delaware-Sullivan League; Everett Hubbard of Gilboa, secretary of the Schoharie Valley High School Association, and Al Hoffman, sports editor of the Oneonta Star.
