SCHENEVUS _ Dedication ceremonies for the relaying of the cornerstone of the Masonic Temple at Schenevus will take place at the Schenevus Valley Lodge 592, at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Featured speaker will be Judge Carl W. Peterson of Ilion, state deputy grand master. In 1952, Judge Peterson was elected Justice of the Supreme Court of the Fifth Judicial District.

He has held many Masonic offices and was district deputy grand master of Fulton-Herkimer-Montgomery Masonic District in 1939-40.

Judge Peterson has also been a member of many Grand Lodge committees, and is a member of almost every Masonic organization. He was made an honorary 33 degree Mason by the Supreme Council in Boston in 1951.

The traditional ceremony of corn, oil and wine will be used in relaying of the cornerstone. Harold Chamberlain, Maryland, master of the lodge, will be host, assisted by William G. Weber, senior warden and Charles B. Staley, Schenevus, junior warden.

Matthias E. Smith, Worcester district deputy grand master of Otsego-Schoharie District, will participate. Among the Masonic notables present will be all Grand Lodge officers of Otsego-Schoharie District.
