The Second Annual Have a Heart Motorcycle Ride to benefit the American Heart Association is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, according to a media release from ride organizers.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the ride starting at 10 a.m.
The event is organized by long-time American Heart Association supporters Jim and Cindy Coe of Richfield Springs and will begin at the Richfield Springs Vet’s Club on Lake Street.
Participants will be taking an approximately 65-mile scenic round trip through the southern valleys of Otsego County. There will be a stop for refreshments with bathroom facilities.
The ride will return to the Vet’s Club and participants may have a lunch of hamburgs, hot dogs, macaroni salad, beans, dessert and drinks, which are included in the registration fee.
Raffle tickets for a 50/50 drawingwill be available before departure and for a designated time upon return of the ride. Tickets for door prizes will be handed out during the registration process. Those participants who pre-register online will be mailed a door prize ticket along with their registration confirmation. The 50/50raffle and the door prizes will be drawn while the participants are eating lunch.
Registration is $20 per driver and $10 per rider. Pre-registration is available by visiting http://haveaheartride.info/.
