Jason D. Doi of the MetLife Financial Group of NY, an office of Metlife, recently was awarded the "chartered retirement planning counselor" designation through the College for Financial Planning.
The CRPC program gives financial advisers in-depth knowledge and skills to assist clients with their retirement goals and needs, a media release said. To earn the earn the professional credentials, Doi passed a required exam, met a specified experience level and ethical standards and agreed to comply with the College for Financial Planning's Code of Ethics and Procedures.
Doi, a 1998 graduate of Oneonta High School, has worked in the financial services industry for seven years, and his office is on Park Avenue in Manhattan.
