Commerce Chenango has announced three awards to be presented today.
Dinnett Moore, owner of A Touch of Moore in Norwich, was recognized with the Woman-Owned Business of the Year, a media release said, and Elise Glassett was honored as Employee of the Year.
The Non-Profit of the Year award was bestowed upon the Chenango Historical Society for services to improve the quality of life in Chenango County.
Commerce Chenango's 11th annual membership appreciation luncheon will be at the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich today, the release said, under the sponsorship of Preferred Mutual Insurance Co. and The Raymond Corp.
The Woman-Owned Business of the Year award is presented to an active, established business owner with recognizable success and sustainability, the release said.
The Employee of the Year program was established to encourage teamwork, excellent customer service and a high level of dedication to member businesses. Glassett has been with Sidney Federal Credit Union for more than 16 years, the release said, and she also has volunteered with community groups.

SBA cites local firm for excellence
A local company was among small businesses recently recognized for excellence by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Great Brook Solar, owned by David Austin, was among 23 businesses recognized, a media release from the SBA said. The firm is located at 819 County Road 28 in South New Berlin.
Small businesses specializing in a variety of industries, from tomato-based manufacturing to lavender farming, were honored at the SBA's 14th annual Small Business Excellence Awards luncheon in Syracuse earlier this month. The SBA will celebrate National Small Business Week next week, and small business owners nationwide will be honored.
Companies are selected for the Excellence Awards based on factors such as longevity, innovation, sales growth, increased employment, community contributions or ability to overcome adversity, SBA officials said.
Great Brook Solar was established in 1978 and has six employees, according to a business profile provided by the SBA. The company installs, sells and services solar electric, solar heating, geothermal heat pump and other systems.
Great Brook Solar's mission is not only to help people save money and raise their standard of living through use of renewable energy but also to provide a measure of freedom from dependence on centralized energy distribution, the profile said.
