The Daily Star — Several news outlets are reporting that Steven Ercolino, the victim in Friday's shooting at the Empire State Building plaza in New York City, was a 1992 graduate of SUNY Oneonta.
Ercolino was listed as the vice president of Hazan Import Corp., the company that employed the shooter Jeffrey Johnson. The Associated Press reported that Johnson had recently been laid off from the company.
Johnson was fatally shot by police.
