Barrett and Stacey Smith of Otego announce the birth of twins, a son, Brycyn Karter Smith, and a daughter, Brynleigh Mae Smith, born March 31 at Albany Medical Center.
Brycyn weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 19 inches long. Brynleigh weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Rick and Deb Ritchey of Otego. Paternal grandparents are Bryan and Ruthie Smith of New Berlin and Mike and Cindy Figger of New Berlin.
Great-grandparents are Carmilla Ritchey of Otego, Harold Ritchey of Schenevus, Bertha Smith of West Winfield and Kate Gravesen of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Uncles are Justin Ritchey of Oneonta and Tyson Smith of Rumford, Rhode Island.
