'Fantasia' to feature readings on love
The Open Eye Theater will host "February Fantasia," a reading performance of 15 original stories and poems by New York state authors about love. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the theater at 960 Main St. in Margaretville.

'Jersey Boys' tribute show coming to Foothills
The vocal hits of the 1960s will come to life on Saturday as "Who Loves You," a tribute to the Broadway hit "Jersey Boys," takes the stage at the Foothills Civic and Performing Arts Center in Oneonta.

Touring stalwarts Rusted Root will make a stop at Oneonta's Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center on March 8 as the band celebrates its 20th anniversary and the release of its latest album, "The Movement."

Reception to feature 'Seeds' artists
Seeds, a new exhibit at the Roxbury Arts Group's Walt Meade Gallery, explores the blossoming nature that art has on individuals and the communities in which they live. The exhibit, which opened Feb. 2, will be celebrated with an artists' reception at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Walt Meade gallery of the Roxbury Arts Center.

Spectacular Average Boys to play 6OTS
"Blackgrass" band the Spectacular Average Boys will bring their alternative-bluegrass music to 6 On The Square on Thursday as part of the cafe's Emerging Artist Series. The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the cafe in Oxford.

Fantasy artist to display work
On Feb. 8, 6 On The Square will host an opening reception for local author and illustrator D. Michael Price from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit of original oil and acrylic paintings will open Thursday and run through March 24.

Auditions set for choral society program
Auditions will be held the first two Thursdays in February for interested singers to perform in the Catskill Choral Society's spring concert, "Walk on Broadway."

'Moments in Time' to open at SUCO gallery
The Martin-Mullen Art Gallery at SUNY Oneonta will open its 2012-13 spring gallery season on Monday with "Moments in Time," an exhibition of more than 30 paintings, prints and works on paper by local artist Lisbeth Firmin.
