Nellie McKay includes many talents of her resume: Singer, songwriter, pianist, actress, ukelele player, writer, mimic and satirist.
She will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the West Kortright Centre, at 49 West Kortright Church Road in East Meredith.
Her music has been used on television shows such as "NCIS," "Grey's Anatomy," "Weeds" "Nurse Jackie" and more. She performed on screen in the film "P.S. I Love You," and wrote music for the Rob Reiner film "Rumor Has It."

Photographer to have first exhibit

Smithy to open exhibit season
Smithy Center for the Arts is will kick off its season for The Smithy Pioneer Gallery on Monday, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. The first show will honors the Smithy member artists. Whimsical Metal Sculptures to be featured in East Meredith
The West Kortright Centre in East Meredith will kicks off its 2013 season with an exhibit of sculptures by John Jackson. "Whimsical Metal Sculptures" will open Friday, May 24, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m., sponsored by Brewery Ommegang and Hand in Hand Farm. The exhibit will run from May 24 to July 8.
