Folk trio to play Saturday at Earlville Opera House

Earlville Opera House will host folk trio Red Horse at 8 p.m. Saturday at 18 E. Main St. in East Meredith.

While members of the group -- singer-songwriters Eliza Gilkyson, Lucy Kaplansky and John Gorka -- normally tour as solo artists, the trio will join together for the concert.

Gilkyson is a Grammy-nominated artist; Gorka is a veteran of the New York City Greenwich Village folk scene with 11 solo albums under his belt; and Kaplansky has earned two Best Pop Album of the Year awards from the Association for Independent Music.
