The Cooperstown Art Association will host a gala preview party for the opening of the 77th annual national juried art exhibition from 5 to 7 p.m. today at 22 Main St. in Cooperstown.
The show is a juried art display of CAA members and will feature drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and more. This year's juror is Tony Reinemann, and the exhibition runs through Aug. 17

Garden club to show floral displays
The Oneonta Garden Club will present Art Bloom concurrently with the CANO juried art show from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The floral arrangements in the exhibit were inspired by pieces in the CANO display.
The event is free and open to the public.
Duo Prism to perform Sunday
The next concert of the Friends of Music series will be Duo Prism at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cyr Center on West Main Street in Stamford.
The group will feature pianist Rieko Aizawa and violinst Jesse Mills performing works by Beethoven, Poulenc, Rorem and Grieg.
Tickets are a suggested donation of $12 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.

Folk group to play in Cooperstown
The Cooperstown Lakefront Concert Series continues this week at 7 p.m. with the Barefoot Boys.
The group will perform regional folk songs and medleys featuring mountain dulcimer, fiddle, mandolin and more.
The concert is in Lakefront Park, which can be accessed from Lake Street in Cooperstown.
