The Smithy Center the Arts' Glimmer Globe Theatre Company seeks actors and crew members for three plays to be staged this summer at the Cooperstown Theatre Festival.
The group will hold auditions from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday for "Love, Loss and What I Wore," a play based on the book by Nora and Delia Ephron, at the Smithy Gallery -- 55 Pioneer St. in Cooperstown. Performances are set for Friday, Aug. 24, through Sunday, Aug. 26.
Tryouts also will be held for Vietnam era plays "Lone Star" and "Laundry & Bourbon" by James McLure from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Smithy and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the radio station at 34 Chestnut St. in Oneonta. Productions are Friday, July 13, through Sunday, July 15.
