This weekend is stocked with musical talent: Lyle Lovett today and Wilco on Saturday.
For nearly 30 years, Lovett has defined the modern Texas singer-songwriter, a media release said. He fuses elements of the blues, country, folk, gospel and jazz.
He's a four-time Grammy winner, has released 14 albums and sold more than 4 million records with his brand of Americana.
In addition to these statistics, Lovett has appeared in 12 feature films and performed at Brewery Ommegang in August 2010.
Some of his songs include "She's No Lady," "I Loved You Yesterday," his rendition of Tammy Wynette's "Stand by Your Man" and "I Married Her Just Because She Looks Like You."
Tickets are $55 in advance and $60 the day of the show. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the show set to start at 8 p.m.
Wilco will take the stage following opening act the Lee Renaldo Band at 7 p.m. Saturday, with gates opening at 4 p.m.
Described by Rolling Stone as "America's foremost rock impressionists," Wilco has made a long career of weaving diverse musical influences into a coherent, reverent and wholly unique sound, a media release said.
The alternative rock band, based in Chicago, was formed in the mid-1990s by singer-songwriter-guitarist Jeff Tweedy.
Wilco has released 10 studio albums, the most recent, "Mermaid Avenue: The Complete Sessions," out in 2012.
Some of Wilco's tracks include "California Stars" from "Mermaid Avenue," "Either Way," from "Sky Blue Sky," "I'm Always in Love" from "Summerteeth" and "Poor Places" from "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot."
Tickets are $42 in advance, $50 the day of the concert.
The brewery is at 656 Highway 33 in Cooperstown.
