Venues open and entertainment begins at 6 p.m., with fireworks at 10:11 p.m. and Main Street entertainment at 10:30 p.m.

Musical groups performing include Brazztet from 8:30 to 9:10 p.m. and 9:20 to 10 p.m. at St. James Hall.

According to a media release, the group "has an authentic sound of a band of the swing era," featuring trumpet, sax, trombone, vocals, piano bass and drums. The group plays swing, jazz, pop, rock and Dixieland.

Also performing are Dana LaCroix and Soren Moller from 6 to 6:50 p.m. and 8:10 to 9 p.m. at the United Universalist Society.

Moller is a Danish jazz pianist now based in New York City. He received a Fulbright Scholarship to study music in Manhattan in his younger years and has worked with Jason Marsalis, Dick Oatts and Pat Metheny's drummer, Antonio Sanchez.

LaCroix is a locally based singer-songwriter.

Also look for clowns, comedians, magicians, jugglers, dancers, storytellers and more.
