Americana rock-alternative country group Esquela will perform at 5 p.m. at the Shire Pub in Delhi as part of the third annual Parade Day. The Shire Pub is at 123 Main St.
Esquela’s performance will include band co-founder, co-writer and guitarist Keith Christopher. He has been touring internationally with his other project, Homemade Sin with Georgia Satellites front man Dan Baird.
Christopher has worked with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Billy Joe Shaver, Todd Snyder and Paul Westerberg, among many others.
Christopher will be joined by front man John “Chico” Finn on bass, vocalist Rebecca Frame, lead guitarist Brian Shafer, Matt Woodin on guitar and mandolin, Ira McIntosh on guitar and vocals, and Todd Russell on drums and vocals.
Esquela recently completed its new album, “Are We Rolling?” It was recorded, mixed and produced by Grammy Award winner Eric “Roscoe” Ambel. The CD is set for release June 20.
While finishing up the new album, Esquela has played on stage with Deadstring Brothers and White Morgan and the 78s.
The Delhi Parade Day parade will begin at noon Saturday, followed by The Stoutmen at the Shire Pub beginning at 1 p.m.
