The Larchmere String Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. today at Chapel Hill, the home of the Franklin Stage Company, at 25 Institute St. in Franklin.
The quartet features violinists Madalyn Parnas and Tim Kantor, violist Rose Wollman and cellist Schuyler Slack.
The concert, sponsored by the Catskill Conservatory, will include the Fifth String Quartet of Bela Bartok, with additional selections by Haydn and Beethoven.
The group, which formed at the University of Indiana's Jacobs School of Music in 2011, is participating in the Central New York Residency program.
The performance is free and open to the public, with donations accepted by the FSC.

The quartet also will play at 4 p.m. at Windfall Dutch Barn in Salt Springville in tribute to Dennis Murray, who died in 2010. The program is called "Raise High the Roof Beams, Carpenters."
