The Chace-Randall Gallery will host an opening reception for two new exhibits from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at 49 Main St. in Andes.
"Avian Impression" by Inverna Lockpez will feature a new series of paintings focused on a variety of bird species and the sea.
Lockpez has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and won a competition in New York City for a 25-foot sculpture for the Municipal Art Society.
The second show is "Glimpses" by Patrick McCay. According to a media release, his canvas on oil paintings "chart his response to the landscape of rural New Hampshire."

Cast announced for 'Charlie Brown' in Oneonta
